Pityriasis Alba is not a common name, although the prevalence of the skin trouble is quite common. Adolescents and teenagers often have white patches on the skin, more so on the face and arms. What is Pityriasis Alba?
The term Pityriasis Alba comes from two words ‘pityron’ and ‘albus’. ‘Pityron’ is a Greek word which means ‘bran’ and ‘albus’ is a Latin word which means white.
